Georg Graf von Westphalen, geboren 1971 in Köln, ist Arzt von Hause aus und arbeitet seit 2000 beim Ärztenetzwerk DocCheck.com. Freiberuflich zeichnet er Comics und Cartoons, entwickelt Character Designs (u.a. Bernd das Brot) und gestaltet Karten- und Brettspiele. Comics sind für ihn sowohl Tagebuch als auch eine Art, Dinge zu Ende zu denken und zur Diskussion zu stellen. Meist satirisch, gern da, wo es um Politik, Medizin, Gesellschaft und die großen Fragen geht. Ausgestellt wurden seine Arbeiten u.a. in Köln, Aachen, Berlin, Leipzig und beim Erlanger Comic-Salon.

Mit seinem Cousin Andreas schrieb und gestaltete er „Hilfe, ich bin ein Mensch!", eine grafische Expedition in die Natur des Menschen, die er nach der Veröffentlichung kurzerhand zerschnitt. Daraus entwickelte er „KayfaBizarro Cut & Play Comics": Comics zum Ausdrucken, Zerschneiden und Mitspielen, mit der Variante „MedKayfab" als Medizin-Lernspiel. Seine Pinsel und digitalen Werkzeuge teilt er auf GeorgBrush.club. Auf CancelThisComic.Substack.com experimentiert er mit KI-Tools, Co-Creation und nicht-linearem Storytelling.

Georg Graf von Westphalen, born in Cologne in 1971, is a physician by training and has been working for the medical network DocCheck.com since 2000. As a freelancer, he draws comics and cartoons, develops character designs (including Bernd das Brot), and designs card and board games. For him, comics serve both as a diary and as a way to think things through to their conclusion and open them up for discussion. Mostly satirical, he often tackles politics, medicine, society, and the big questions. His work has been exhibited in Cologne, Aachen, Berlin, Leipzig, and at the Erlangen Comic Salon, among other places.

Together with his cousin Andreas, he wrote and illustrated “Hilfe, ich bin ein Mensch!,” a graphic exploration of human nature, which he promptly cut up after its publication. From this, he developed “KayfaBizarro Cut & Play Comics”: comics to print out, cut up, and play with, including the “MedKayfab” variant as a medical educational game. He shares his brushes and digital tools on GeorgBrush.club. On CancelThisComic.Substack.com, he experiments with AI tools, co-creation, and non-linear storytelling.
