Nachrichten aus Mangrovia
„Mangrovia“ ist eine fiktive Baumhausstadt – die letzte Metropole der Welt. Während in den Wipfeln das urbane Leben pulsiert, bauen in den tieferen Etagen martialische Maschinen das begehrte Harz ab, das unter der Rinde fließt. Die daraus resultierende Verschmutzung läuft bis hinab ins Wurzelwerk, wo unsagbare Monstrositäten lauern. Mangrovia ist die Welt, in der Jan Bintakies´ neue Geschichte spielen wird, an der er gerade schreibt. Die ausgestellten Seiten stellen das Worldbuilding vor und fragen, ob die Menschheit dazu verdammt ist, ihre Fehler auf ewig zu wiederholen.

News from Mangrovia
“Mangrovia” is a fictional treehouse city—the world’s last metropolis. While urban life pulsates in the treetops, martial machines on the lower levels extract the coveted resin that flows beneath the bark. The resulting pollution seeps all the way down into the root system, where unspeakable monstrosities lurk. Mangrovia is the world in which Jan Bintakies’ new story—which he is currently writing—will take place. The pages on display introduce the world-building and ask whether humanity is doomed to repeat its mistakes forever.
