Jennifer Daniel, geboren 1986 in Deutschland, ist eine Illustratorin und Comic-Künstlerin mit einer Leidenschaft für das Erzählen von Geschichten. Sie lebt in Düsseldorf und war dort von 2013 bis 2016 als Art Director tätig, wobei sie Webdesign nahtlos mit Illustration verband. Im Jahr 2016 gründete sie gemeinsam mit anderen das Studio Rabotti, ein auf Illustration spezialisiertes Studio.Seitdem ist Jennifer aktiv als Comic-Künstlerin und Illustratorin für Printmedien, Werbung und Online-Plattformen tätig.Seit 2017 gibt sie zudem ihr Wissen über Comic-Kunst und Storytelling an Studierende der Hochschule Düsseldorf weiter. Ihr Podcast "Art, Work & Progress", den sie zusammen mit Franziska Ruflair moderiert, bietet tiefe Einblicke in den kreativen Werdegang einer Illustratorin. Ihr Comic-Debüt Earth Unplugged wurde 2014 für den Max-und-Moritz-Preis nominiert. Ebenso erhielt ihre 2022 erschienene Graphic Novel Das Gutachten eine Nominierung für denselben Preis. Diese wurde 2024 in Frankreich unter dem Titel L'Expert veröffentlicht und in die "Sélection Officielle 2025" des Internationalen Comic-Festivals in Angoulême aufgenommen.

Jennifer Daniel, born in Germany in 1986, is an illustrator and comic artist with a passion for storytelling. She lives in Düsseldorf, where she worked as an art director from 2013 to 2016, seamlessly combining web design with illustration. In 2016, she co-founded Studio Rabotti, a studio specializing in illustration. Since then, Jennifer has been actively working as a comic artist and illustrator for print media, advertising, and online platforms. Since 2017, she has also been sharing her knowledge of comic art and storytelling with students at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Her podcast “Art, Work & Progress,” which she co-hosts with Franziska Ruflair, offers deep insights into the creative career of an illustrator. Her comic debut, Earth Unplugged, was nominated for the Max und Moritz Prize in 2014. Her graphic novel Das Gutachten, published in 2022, also received a nomination for the same prize. It was published in France in 2024 under the title L'Expert and included in the “Sélection Officielle 2025” of the Angoulême International Comics Festival.
